Rotten to The Core: Reader Feedback From The Frontlines

Via: Michelle Malkin

By Michelle Malkin  •  January 31, 2013 12:54 PM

I have more installments of my Rotten to the Core series on the federalized national curriculum “standards” coming next week. (See parts one and two here and here.) In the meantime, I’m sharing several of the e-mails pouring in from teachers, parents, and activists across the country who are fighting this juggernaut across the country.

From a history teacher:
I am anxiously awaiting the next installment in your Rotten to the Core series. As a history teacher, the Common Core Standards don’t have much of an impact on my teaching (yet – and to my understanding). The whole of this program seems to be shrouded in edu-speak and double talk (which are mostly the same).

In addition to the Common Core, we were given an intro to another change coming to my district… and from what I’ve seen, it is spreading to districts across the country. The new model for teaching is Strategic Planning Strategies (based on Cambridge Strategies), which include Applied Learning (seems similar to problem based learning – students focus on and develop a solution to a problem facing their community). We were shown a video, which listed beliefs held by my district. There were immediately a some statements that stood out, including a belief that “cultural proficiency leads to equity and removes barriers to opportunity” – especially troubling was when a teacher asked for clarification on what was meant by “cultural proficiency”, we were told by our administrator that she didn’t know.

Another statement that stood out, was that we were going to educate students “from cradle to career”. I’ve looked up the keywords of this program and found this website ( that seeks to use this model to form a “framework for civic infrastructure” that is based on this program…

… I see this as another path of indoctrination “from cradle to career”.

Glock, Paper, Scissors: Armed Guard Stops Shooter

While DHS seeks 7,000 semiautomatic guns with 30-round clips for self-defense, it makes a video saying you should use scissors to overpower armed predators. Luckily, a school guard in Atlanta thought differently.
Vice President Joe Biden criticized, on Jan. 23 during a Google+ Hangout, the suggestion by NRA chief Wayne LaPierre to put armed guards in every school in the nation.

“We are not calling for armed guards in schools . .. we think that would be a terrible mistake,” the vice president said during the PBS “Fireside Hangout.”

On Thursday afternoon, a student opened fire at Price Middle School in Atlanta, wounding a 14-year-old in the neck before an armed officer working at the school was able to get the gun away possibly averting yet another mass shooting. Police say the shooter had a grudge against the victim, but the armed guard’s intervention made sure the incident went no further.

Congress’s Policies Steal Our Freedoms While Rewarding Irresponsibility

Families provide the sure foundation undergirding Western Civilization. No laws or economic remedy can arrest social breakdown if the family structure fractures. Yet, progressives have commandeered the political realm to overhaul culture. Marriage withers under easy divorce, subsidized illegitimacy, and the desire among progressives to make it anything and everything. The only liberties the Left touts grant license to repudiate traditional morality.

Swiss Tax Dodge Costs Florida Woman Millions

A 79-year-old Florida woman pleaded guilty on Tuesday to criminal charges of tax evasion through accounts at Swiss bank UBS, one of the largest such prosecutions in years.

Mary Estelle Curran pleaded guilty in United States District Court in West Palm Beach, Florida, to two charges of filing false tax returns that failed to report her UBS accounts from 2001 to 2007, court papers show.

Curran’s UBS accounts used foundations in Liechtenstein and Panama, two tax havens, to conceal money, the Justice Department said in a statement. She faces six years in prison.

Logistics of the Irregular Force Warfighter

Via: Mountainguerrilla

This page will include those articles from the old blog concerning selection of equipment and arms for the irregular warfighter.–J.M.)

(I read a lot. I average anywhere from 8-10 full-length books a week, in addition to a host of websites and forums that I check daily. Amongst the several hundred other books that I own, two that sit on my bookshelf in the living room are, by many in the “survivalist/gun/patriot/militia/threeper” community, considered the go-to references for selecting firearms for the challenges of the future.—J.M.)

When you consider the amount of vitriolic debate that goes on amongst gun enthusiasts, considering caliber selection and firearms selection, in regard to the “ideal” survival firearm paradigm, it’s no surprise that someone wrote a book to help narrow the selection. Between the hundred year-old debate on the weakness of the 9mm Parabellum, versus the manliness and obvious lethality of the .45ACP, and the current, equally absurd arguments regarding the Kalashnikov platform versus the AR-15/M-16 platform, these conversations go on, and on, and on, ad nauseum. So, we have two notoriously famed books, considered by many to be the ultimate references on the subject: Survival Guns by the late, famed survival writer Mel Tappan, and Boston’s Gun Bible (BGB) by “Boston T. Party,” of the “Free State Wyoming Project, in attempts, decades apart, of solving the dilemma of “what is the perfect firearm?”

A Suggestion to OathKeepers

Via: Mountainguerrilla

There’s been a lot of news lately about County Sheriffs’ publicly stating that they will not enforce unconstitutional gun restrictions. Someone reported hearing a cop in an elevator at SHOT show tell another cop that he’d shoot his lieutenant in the head if he ordered him to “confiscate” guns.

Here’s a suggestion to LEOs who consider themselves Oathkeepers. You fellas need to figure out a way, NOW, to identify yourselves as “good guys.” Telling your buddies in the squad room that you’ll “do the right thing,” or posting a fucking letter on the internet, or surreptitiously posting it, under a screen name online is great. It’s going to be far more important that you figure out a way, NOW, to let the rest of us know, when you pull us over, on the side of the two-lane blacktop, at 0-dark-30, that you’re on our side.

My Trip to The Gun Store

Via: The Reaganite Republican

Yesterday I decided to head-out and get a bit more ammo before the Obama and his congressional minions had a chance to impose more regulation and/or bans…

Luckily, I picked up 9mm, .357, and 12-gauge shells, and after a considerable wait in line it was my turn to pay. So then the cashier says ‘strip down, facing me.’

I couldn’t believe it- all I could think was ‘this time these pinheads in Congress have gone WAY too far…’

IRS: Parents Must Pay Federal Fine for Uninsured Kids (Are These People Crazy?)

Via: CNS

In new, final regulations issued Wednesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) said that parents must pay a federal fine under Obamacare if their children or dependent spouses are uninsured for any part of the year.

The regulations clarify provisions of Obamacare that seem to say that a parent will be held liable for Obamacare’s individual mandate penalty if they don’t have insurance coverage for their children.

In its final regulations, the IRS states that parents will be made to pay the penalty if they can claim an uninsured child or spouse as a dependent, regardless of whether they actually claim them or not.

Teachers , Police, Doctors, Lawyers, Bankers, and the Military

By Moose

The cultural shaping that goes on about Teachers , Police, Doctors, Lawyers, Bankers, and the Military are all similar…

The masses are taught positive things about these jobs…How good, honest, powerful, necessary, etc. they are.

The way we embrace teachers as caring and motivated purveyors of knowledge is wrong. The industry of education’s agenda is pure cultural modeling. It must teach the lies of history

It’s mission is not about creating informed and thinking citizens, but to create a good corporate unit. A teacher is a tool of the empire… and one of it’s most powerful... Remember, the education system has the child for 12 years of indoctrination.  And the most effective influencing is done when the subjects are young..
Think about it..we are taught that killing is wrong, but it’s OK when Uncle Sam say’s “Hey , Go kill those brown people”.

It’s against the “Law” to murder, but the Lawyers defend murder at the highest levels….and remember most of our scummy politicians are lawyers…

And the Police…what can you say…They are tools of the centers of power…Look at how they treat our citizens…They too are willing pawns in the system…feeding the courts, prisons,..and generating lots of need for funding on the way! It’s to keep you safe! And oh yeah, oops, killed your dog, wife, brother, mother, father.etc..

We are taught how much we owe to our military for the sacrifices they have made for our freedom… Bull hockey!  The military is used as a tool to steal empire!

What about the doctors that help the CIA with torture? Or the scientists that work on bio weapons? Or the doctors that are mere representatives of Big Pharma..Prescribing mind altering drugs for patients for years? To mothers? To kids?

And what about the Bankers that fund the wars and the weapons and the murder….and steal houses from people..and get bailed out by the US taxpayers and then sit on the dough..and reward themselves so generously…

And this cultural modeling is so well done that many if not most of the people working in these “professions” honestly believe that they are helping, defending, protecting, etc. the US freedoms, interests, oil, people, etc.

It’s gonna get interesting…I can’t be the only one that has figured it out…..

Only One Solution To The FED Debt Trap

Via: ICH

By Randy Clifford

February 01, 2013 “Information Clearing House” –  The Oxford Dictionary of Proverbs lists the oldest written version of the saying “what you don’t know can’t hurt you” as coming from playwright George Pettie’s Petit Palace in 1576:

“So long as I know it not, it hurteth me not.”

Several Rothschild-controlled centuries later, what Americans don’t know about “the Fed” may be fatal.

The Fed gained control of America’s money in 1913. Government debt now soars toward $17 trillion. Interest paid to service this debt, for the year 2011 alone, was $454,393,280,417.03, largely funneled by the Fed to eight international banking families:
Rothschild’s of London and Berlin; Lazard Brothers of Paris; Israel Moses Seaf of Italy; Kuhn, Loeb & Co. of Germany and New York; Warburg & Company of Hamburg, Germany; Lehman Brothers of New York; Goldman, Sachs of New York; Rockefeller Brothers of New York.

Ever heard a better argument for entitlement reform?

Rothschild wealth alone is estimated at $500 trillion.

The Stock Market: Food Stamps for the 1%

For most of the past four or five years, I have spent the majority of my time studying the dominant forces that fuel the power structure that exists in these United States today, and indeed throughout the world.  My education began quite suddenly and unexpectedly in the middle of the last decade when I started understanding fiat money, Central Banking and the global monetary system.

Since then, I have expanded my understanding to mainstream media brainwashing, the military-industrial complex, the role of the political oligarchs in Washington D.C., the corruption of the food industry under the complicity of the FDA itself and much more.  The more I peered under the curtain, no matter what the industry, the clearer it became that the system had no chance of survival under its current form.  What’s worse, it became obvious that the very small 0.01% of the population that I call oligarchs (financial and political), who are actively gaming the system for their own pleasure, are well aware of the system’s terminal nature.

That’s why they are rapidly putting in place the police state grid.

The Linchpin Lie: How Global Collapse Will Be Sold To The Masses

In our modern world there exist certain institutions of power.  Not government committees, alphabet agencies, corporate lobbies, or even standard military organizations; no, these are the mere “middle-men” of power.  The errand boys.  The well paid hitmen of the global mafia.  They are not the strategists or the decision makers.

Instead, I speak of institutions which introduce the newest paradigms.  Who write the propaganda.  Who issue the orders from on high.  I speak of the hubs of elitism which have initiated nearly every policy mechanism of our government for the past several decades.  I am talking about the Council On Foreign Relations, the Tavistock Institute, the Heritage Foundation (a socialist organization posing as conservative), the Bilderberg Group, as well as the corporate foils that they use to enact globalization, such as Monsanto, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, the Carlyle Group, etc.

Who Runs The World? Solid Proof That A Core Group Of Wealthy Elitists Is Pulling The Strings

Via: WorldView Weekend

Does a shadowy group of obscenely wealthy elitists control the world? Do men and women with enormous amounts of money really run the world from behind the scenes? The answer might surprise you. Most of us tend to think of money as a convenient way to conduct transactions, but the truth is that it also represents power and control. And today we live in a neo-fuedalist system in which the super rich pull all the strings.

When I am talking about the ultra-wealthy, I am not just talking about people that have a few million dollars. As you will see later in this article, the ultra-wealthy have enough money sitting in offshore banks to buy all of the goods and services produced in the United States during the course of an entire year and still be able to pay off the entire U.S. national debt.

9/11: The World Trade Center Collapses Part 1: Scientific Evidence and 200+ Mainstream Testimonies Virtually Prove Buildings Brought Down With Thermate and Explosives

Joël v.d. Reijden | December 10, 2012 |

“Explosion…. huge explosion… loud blast… secondary explosions… secondary device… flashes… bombs… shockwave… detonators… controlled demolition… the thickest steel, bent like a pretzel…
molten steel … lava … [underground] fires of hell… more than 2,800 degrees F [1540°C]…”

– As you will see, typical terms used by witnesses to describe their experiences during the attack and the clean up of the World Trade Center site. (example video clips one and two)

“I spent the rest of the afternoon at the mayor’s command center. The reporters were trying to figure out what happened. We were thinking that bombs had brought the buildings down. The mayor [Giuliani] talked to us and said he had no evidence of bombs.”

Justice for Sal

Last week The Washington Post reported that Sal Culosi’s parents have reached a $2 million settlement with Fairfax County, Virginia, police Detective Deval Bullock, who shot and killed the 38-year-old optometrist during a January 2006 SWAT raid on his home. The unusual settlement reflects the outrageous facts of this case, in which an unarmed man suspected of nothing more than betting on sports was recklessly gunned down during an unnecessarily violent operation.

Congress, at Last Minute, Drops Requirement to Obtain Warrant to Monitor Email

Via: All Gov

Tuesday, December 25, 2012

The federal government will continue to access Americans’ emails without a warrant, after the U.S. Senate dropped a key amendment to legislation now headed to the White House for approval.

Last month, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved an amendment attached to the Video Privacy Protection Act Amendments Act (which deals with publishing users’ Netflix information on Facebook pages) that would have required federal law enforcement to obtain a warrant before monitoring email or other data stored remotely (i.e., the cloud).

One in Four US Hackers ‘Is an FBI Informer’

Via:The Guardian

The underground world of computer hackers has been so thoroughly infiltrated in the US by the FBI and secret service that it is now riddled with paranoia and mistrust, with an estimated one in four hackers secretly informing on their peers, a Guardian investigation has established.

Cyber policing units have had such success in forcing online criminals to co-operate with their investigations through the threat of long prison sentences that they have managed to create an army of informants deep inside the hacking community.

Military Must Prep Now for ‘Mutant’ Future, Researchers Warn

The U.S. military is already using, or fast developing, a wide range of technologies meant to give troops what California Polytechnic State University researcher Patrick Lin calls “mutant powers.” Greater strength and endurance. Superior cognition. Better teamwork. Fearlessness.
But the risk, ethics and policy issues arising out of these so-called “military human enhancements” — including drugs, special nutrition, electroshock, gene therapy and robotic implants and prostheses — are poorly understood, Lin and his colleagues Maxwell Mehlman and Keith Abney posit in a new report for The Greenwall Foundation (.pdf), scheduled for wide release tomorrow. In other words, we better think long and hard before we unleash our army of super soldiers.

How to Halt the Terrorist Money Train

Via:The New York Times

LAST month, HSBC admitted in court pleadings that it had allowed big Mexican and Colombian drug cartels to launder at least $881 million. The bank also admitted to using various schemes to move hundreds of millions of dollars to nations subject to trade sanctions, including Iran, Cuba and Sudan, in violation of the Trading With the Enemy Act. “On at least one occasion,” according to a statement by Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer, “HSBC instructed a bank in Iran on how to format payment messages so that the transactions would not be blocked or rejected by the United States.”
Those were some of the transgressions uncovered during a two-year investigation led by the Justice and Treasury Departments and acknowledged by HSBC in a settlement, known as a deferred prosecution agreement, that was filed in a federal court in December. Not a single executive was charged with a crime. Instead, the bank paid $1.9 billion in fines and forfeitures — or roughly 10 percent of the pretax profits it earned in just 2010, one of the more than five years during which it admitted to criminal conduct.
